Scholarship Information

Our scholarships are funded by donations from individuals, businesses, organizations and by fundraising events.  Youth Foundation donations are used entirely for scholarships and promotional activities as our Board of Directors serve as volunteers.   We invite you to join us by sharing your ideas on ways to increase our efforts.  Don't let the education of our youth be left to chance.  Your tax deductible donation when combined with other gifts becomes a powerful means of helping our youth further their education.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE:

1.  Applicants must live in AHA Region 9 (Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma or Texas) and be a member of a Region 9 club.

2.  Applicants must be either a graduating high school senior or a high school graduate under the age of 21 who has been accepted by an accredited college, university or trade school.

3. The high school GPA must be in the upper 50% of the graduating class.  Home Schooled students will be evaluated on an independent basis.

4.  Scholarships will be awarded based on:

- Financial need

- Academic Record

- Equine Background

- Demonstrated Leadership

- Educational goals
